For cafés, bars and restaurants

Next week’s shifts, without a spreadsheet.

Build the week in minutes, publish it, and everyone gets a link of their own. Nothing to install. No accounts for your staff.

Free for one venue with up to 20 staff. No card.

Three things that make the difference

The rest is a week of shifts done properly. These are the parts a spreadsheet will never give you.

The shifts

Drag it, and the week changes

Pull a shift onto another day. Stretch either end to change when it starts or finishes. No forms, nothing typed twice.

Before you publish

See the problems while they are still easy to fix

Overlaps, too little rest between shifts, weeks over contracted hours. They show up while you are building, not after your team has already read it.

Warnings2 unresolved
  • João Costa · Finishes at 04:00 and opens at 09:00 — 5h of rest.
  • Sofia Marques · Two shifts at the same time on Saturday.

For your staff

Everyone gets their own link

No app, no password, no account. It opens on their phone and shows only their shifts, only once published — never a draft. And it feeds their phone’s calendar on its own.

Nothing counted. Not people, not venues.

Taking someone on for the summer should not raise your bill. Nor should opening a second place. Start free and move up when the rota stops fitting in your head.

Questions we get

If yours is not here, write to ola@quemfecha.com.

What is Quem fecha?
A web app for building and publishing the weekly staff rota of a café, bar or restaurant. The manager builds the week and hits publish. Every worker gets a personal link that opens on their phone and shows only their own published shifts.
Does my team need to install an app or create an account?
No. Each person gets their own link, which opens in a phone browser with nothing to install, no password and no account. The link also feeds their shifts into their phone calendar.
How does it handle shifts that run past midnight?
The working day ends at 06:00, not at midnight. A shift starting at 21:00 on Friday and finishing at 03:00 on Saturday is a Friday shift, all of it. Every figure in the product — hours, rest between shifts, weekly totals — follows that rule, because that is how people in hospitality think.
What does it cost?
Basic is free forever: one venue and up to 20 staff. Pro is €49.99 a month including VAT, or €499.90 a year. The first 2 months of Pro are free and no card is asked for. For more than one venue, Business is agreed case by case.
What happens when the two free months end?
The account moves to Basic and keeps working. Nothing is deleted: the shifts, the staff, the templates and the history all stay exactly where they were. What you lose are the cover suggestions, the hours analytics, the export and staff requests.
Does it do clocking in or payroll?
No, deliberately. Quem fecha? builds and publishes rotas. It does not track attendance, does not calculate wages, and does not replace the working-time record Portuguese employers are required to keep.
What happens when somebody cannot work a shift?
The worker asks through their own link. The manager sees the request alongside a ranked list of who could cover — ordered by who has had the fewest weekends and nights, and only including people who actually can, checking roles, approved time off, minimum rest between shifts and contracted hours.
